Biography
Chairmen of the Board formed in Detroit on Invictus Records and scored with "Give Me Just a Little More Time" in 1970.
The group, fronted by Norman "General" Johnson, went on to build a decades-long career performing in the Carolinas.

Their later catalog and constant touring made them a cornerstone of Carolina beach music and shag culture, a scene that belongs to the Carolinas specifically.
