Anthony Hamilton

Anthony Hamilton is a soul singer from Charlotte, North Carolina whose album Comin' from Where I'm From established him as one of the leading Southern soul voices of the 2000s.

He has released a long catalog of albums and collaborated widely across R&B and hip-hop.

Charlotte is in the texture of his singing — a gospel-rooted, church-trained sound that stayed Southern even as his audience widened.

He has remained closely identified with the city and its music community.
